Bradley Brower's Budget Friendly Skincare Routine
I find that giving your skin the attention, it deserves shouldn’t cost more than $20. I’m here to take you through your skin regimen and offer you a cheap alternative that actually works. Once you try these products you’ll never want to shell out for high-end stuff ever again.
Step 1, Cleanser:
One of the most important things you can do for your skin care routine is the rinsing and washing of makeup, oils, and dead skin cells on your face. This prepares your face to receive the serums and treatments you use later. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water is only 6.59 on Amazon. Great for a quick refresher in the mornings, it’s so simple and fast to use. Just put a little on a face cloth to help exfoliate the skin. It dries quickly and leaves the skin silky smooth. Best of all when using this product your pores literally disappear.
Step 2, Toner:
Think of this as a part two to the cleansing process. It removes any further residue left over from the cleansing and restores the skins pH levels. Again, this readies the skin for the next steps in your routine. THAYERS ORIGINAL WITCH HAZEL TONER is only 10.99 on Amazon (also available in cucumber and lavender). This works miracles on uneven skin. It cleanses and tones. It even has disinfecting qualities which is a nice plus. It definitely won’t break the bank either.
Step 3, Serums:
This is where you actually treat your skin problems (whether you're worried about aging gracefully, clearing acne, rosacea, etc.). Serums have the active ingredients that are formulated to penetrate the skin's surface and get to work fixing your issues. So, for me, large pores are an issue. So, I’m recommending Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum. Get it from Amazon for 15.99. This stuff is better than the drink because it has magical qualities that shrink pores to oblivion. It will return your skin to the days before puberty. The scent is not overbearing. It’s a must try.
Step 4, Moisturizer:
This is a simple one. Moisturizer replenishes the moisture that’s been lost. The key is for the moisturizer leaving the skin soft and looking hydrated. Dry skin is awful. Eucerin Daily Protection Face Lotion is only 7.98 on Amazon. This stuff ditches the unnecessary fragrances and gives you the good stuff. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy. It has an SPF of 30, so it helps protect against UV exposure while it hydrates. Bonus it doesn’t clog your pores and cause breakouts.
So please don’t break the bank on skincare, you can save and still have healthy looking skin.
